Q?

Why can I get my screen fixed cheaper somewhere else?

A.

2 Reasons, quality and warranty. When getting your device repaired be sure your getting what you pay for. At Mike's Place we give you the best quality product we can get our hands on and giving you the best warranty we can offer to give you the longest lasting product that you paid for. Some other business are able to offer lower pricing by not offering a good warranty and using cheaper parts to get the job done.

Q?

My Cellular Phone Won’t Turn On?

A.

This is a common disaster for some and happens to all of us one time or another.  On an iPhone, iPod or iPad (Apple Device) Hold the Power button and the Home button down for 10 seconds (or until it turns on). On all other devices simply remove the battery and re-instert it this should solve the problem. If not, you might need a new battery or have other issues deeper inside that are wrong.

Q?

Is Water Damage Repairable?

A.

It is not weather it "is" repairable it is "can" it be repairable it's always a 50/50 chance either way depending how bad the corrosion inside is, did it start to destroy and fry the logic board? All answers we don't know until we start getting inside your device to give you an accurate quote.  Keep in mind your only looking at our tech time to diagnose and quote and if it's not repairable you have the option to pay nothing and we'll recycle your device! If you do decide you'd rather have your paper weight back we will just charge you the 1 hour tech time.  If the device is repairable and let's say you only need a new battery the tech time goes towards that new battery cost.

Q?

YES! We fix a very wide assortment of devices including and NOT limited to ALL Cellular devices! Our repairs include a 6-Month limited warranty.  The limited warranty covers defective part(s) and labor.  Warranty is void if your device is exposed to additional physical damage or has been repaired by others, after the date of repair (warranty sticker removed).  Please understand that if water damage has occurred that the repair process can be tricky and there is no warranty for water damage.  We have the right to refuse any warranty work without proof of receipt.

We can not be responsible for how you handle your device after it leaves the store.  The warranty is in place to protect you from defects that we can not control.

A.

We will replace batteries in most devices that you may have a hard time getting into like an iPhone, iPod, or iPad etc. However phones like HTC or Samsung we do not normally carry these and recommend you check with your local battery store's that specializes in batteries.  They can set you up with a replacement.

Q?

My screen is lifting is this normal?

A.

Under certain circumstances this can happen, especially when variations in temperature come into play.  Some of these screens are refurbished from the factory and the glue may not have had to to set.  Once it's exposed to hot and cold temperatures this could cause the screen to lift.  We advise you bring it back immediately so we can properly repair it before it gets damaged and needs to be replaced (outside of warranty).
